The older I get, the more I like old linens. It's fun washing, and hanging out to dry, old linen napkins and dresser scarves. Tablecloths are more of a project, but they do 'make' a set table. Even ironing is relaxing.So, the news is - I have a new clothes pole, and I like it a lot. My old one wouldn't go up, or down. It wouldn't turn, and it was always in the way. Do you think Home Depot, or Lowe's carry a decent clothes pole? No. I tried one from Lowe's, but it barely made it out of the box.
I ordered one online from a place in Maine - South China, Maine - so it's kind of like getting it from China. The price includes shipping - I'm sure they up the price of the item, but the words, "shipping included' sounds nice.
I got the parallel aluminum umbrella style - wow, the price has gone up just in the last few months. I'll have to look up how much I paid. I'm pretty sure it wasn't $99.
